Located right on the Pekoe Trail, 2.2km along stage 18, we stayed at the end of stage 17 as we didn't have the 2km left in us that evening (it had been torrential rain all day). Property is a big, grand house with multiple rooms, Ours was a comfortable double room and we had use of the en suite bathroom of a close by smaller bedroom, as well as a large full bathroom below. We also had all the space you could wish for to dry out our soaked clothing. The host provided us with a mass of old newspaper to dry out our boots, which was an absolute blessing! Meals were brought to us in the dining area we had to ourselves and were excellent and plentiful. The house is owned by the parents but we only had contact with the young adult aged children, who were all super warm and friendly. The daughter spoke perfect English. One of the sons provided the Tuktuk rides to and from end of stage 17 at the train station for 600lkr - we just texted when we arrived at end of stage and her arrived quickly. Stay was very good value. Highly recommended for your Pekoe...
