NETHSARA Cottage — Hotel in Sri Lanka

We just had the most lovely 4 nights! After 2 weeks of busy city hopping, we decided to take a small break to unwind and regain forces for the rest of the trip... We could not have chosen a better place!

A lovely Madusha made us feel so special. Her homemade food was so delicious and I recommend everyone staying here to order her diner. She is an exceptional cook and will serve it on your private terras. We love vegetables and she made sure to prepare a verity each diner.

The views are stunning, and the only noise comes from the forest.

The first night hundreds of fireflies lit up the trees. A spectacular event.

Every day we had a different breakfast, also served on your private terras, but always with a lot of fresh fruit and the tipical sweet Sri Lanka pancakes.

The beds are amazing, 5-star hotel standards. Very good linen and everything is new and really clean.

We will definitely chose to stay here again.

The cottages themselves are immaculate—spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. They have everything you need, from comfortable and clean rooms for couples and families to thoughtful extras like chess boards and card packs for a fun evening. The cottages are spacious, with lovely terraces perfect for enjoying the views and a delicious, homemade breakfast. ⛰️ ✨We stayed at NETHSARA Cottage in Ella for three nights, and everything was just perfect! The cottage had a full bathroom with hot water, two comfortable beds, a fridge, fans, extra lights, and an electric kettle. The balcony had a beautiful view, which made it a wonderful place to relax. 😴

Another special thing is that two of our group members didn’t have internet on their phones, so NETHSARA Cottage kindly provided us with their private WiFi. We are really grateful for that extra touch of hospitality. Truly a great stay, highly...
