The bungalow features a nice swimming pool where we spent hours cooling off and having fun. They also provide a carom board, badminton rackets, and cricket equipment, which added to the entertainment and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a wonderful family outing at Newlands Bungalow — a hidden gem that offers a true hill country experience right in the heart of Galle. The villa itself is a charming antique home, beautifully furnished with vintage pieces that add to its unique character. It's surrounded by serene tea estates and lush paddy fields, providing a refreshing contrast to the typical Galle experience.

Despite its peaceful setting, it's conveniently located close to the main attractions in Galle. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the privacy of the bungalow made our stay even more relaxing.

Perfect place with a disappointing rule

Place is worth for what you pay. Gives you a calm and quiet environment. Downside is they do not have any meal options, and one hilarious house rule about the alcohol. They mentioned that people are not allowed to consume alcohol not only in outside the rooms but even inside the rooms, which make no sense. The lady who spoke over the phone was tried to explain this ridiculous rule in a non friendly vibe. They should know what kind of drinks we consume inside the rooms are not a business of the...
