Nuwara Eliya Holiday Bungalows & Guest House, Hotels — Hotel in Sri Lanka

Coming from Kandy, going to Haputale tomorrow, I plan 1 night in Bandarawela without a room booked. Normally tuk-tuk drivers hound “you” whenever you arrive at a bus station. NOT here. I had to hunt one up. I wanted a decent place. Of course, the tuk-tuk driver has better ideas. We went here, there & everywhere; already booked full, no-one home & finally I just took one that the driver picked. “He” negotiated the price for “Me”. It's a VERY OLD STYLE hotel/bungalow where my 1st room the door wouldn't lock, the 2nd room they had to install hot water heater & shower head. I don't think anyone as stayed here in decades.?? It has very old fashion electrical++. Check out the photos. The place has character. I hope professional people are remodeling here. I'd say everything is aged. This place needs AN AWFUL LOT of work to function as a hotel/bungalow!! || The room has a big bed, small single bed, a small desk/drawer with mirror, a “sitting” room & a TV which I didn't bother to turn on. It's not connected as far as I can see. The bathroom, once in-stall-ed the hot water & shower head, has tissue, small soap & a towel. Late note; NO HOT WATER & minuscule water pressure. I did NOT take a shower at all even though dirty from riding...

Good place to stay relax .. Meals are very tasty and they give a friendly service too . I recomend this place who want to stay in...
