I really enjoyed my stay at Neil's cottage, it was exactly what I needed, quiet, relaxing, and fresh air to breathe. I stayed in the first bungalow house and it was comfortable with all what I needed. there is a library that I could use if I wanted, and a nice loft space overlooking the clay court. the location of the cottage is very good for me as I like walking the small Sri Lanka roads, and the town of Gelioya took about 25-30 minutes walk. the host is very kind and helpful, on occasion drove me to town. the lady working there also is very kind person, and they offered me fresh juice from the gardens fruit trees. i highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice and welcoming...

There is also a unique Finnish sauna which was an excellent therapeutic experience to use! The owner is a nasty person. On arrival he yelled at our driver, we booked a cottage but got his own very unprivat bedroom, he was telling around and mistreating the animals at the property and his absolutely beautiful staff that (who had no choice to leave unfortunately) .
