We had a little difficulty locating the guest house as there were no signs after leaving the main road and it wasn't obvious even when we arrived at the property, but the Google map pin is correct so just head for that!
I can honestly say that this is one of the best guest houses we have stayed at during our month in Sri Lanka. The owners are super lovely and do everything they can to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast (included in the room price) is delicious, and at your request they can prepare a Sri Lankan meal for dinner at a cost of only 500 rupees pp.
The room is excellent. Bed is very comfortable and room has AC, a fan and a television. The bathroom is modern and includes hot water, which is rare for a room in this price range imo. The room also has a great front porch with a table for meals and some comfy chairs for relaxing by their pleasant garden.
I wish all our stays in Sri Lanka were as pleasant and genuine as this one. Go check it out...

Very nice place with wonderful owners. If you want to experience real Sri Lankan hospitality for a fair price it's the best option to choose in Sigiriya imho. The authentic food, cooked by the owner's wife, is excellent. Don't miss out their self mixed herbal tea - it's truly lovely. As some Tuk Tuk drivers don't know the place the owner will pick you up with his own in front of the Chooti Restaurant (just a 5 min ride).
