Mittlandia Hotel — Hotel in Ånge Municipality

Hotel Mittlandia is a good hotel if you are staying in Ånge. It's not particularly modern and the decor reflects this, but the staff are very helpful, friendly, and informal. ||The lunch restaurant serves an excellent buffet with a choice of main dishes (fish, meat, and vegetarian) and a good range of salad ingredients. The two days we ate lunch there the restaurant was fairly full with a lot of locals choosing to eat there!||The evening meal was also excellent (and they had organic/ecological beer in the bar!)||We were there to work and the conference facilities were perfectly adequate, even if they weren't as posh as those in a big city hotel. On est arrivé dimanche 28 août et on reste jusqu'au 5 septembre. Après 5jours je suis suffisamment renseigné pour écrire un avis. |Nous avons la chambre 101 qui est une chambre double. Grand hall d'entrée et chambre juste assez spacieuse. Par contre a peine d'espace pour les WC - lavabos - douche qui sont plus que serrés. En tout css on ne peut pas y accéder à deux et encore moins poser les trousses de toilette pour 2 personnes. |Quant au petit-déjeuner il est remarquable et il y a tout le choix dont on pourrait rêver. Parfait ! |Finalement il y a un manifique restaurant, beaucoup de tables (certainement pour 50 personnes), bien mises, vraiment de quoi nous faire envie d'y dîner ... il serait ouvert selon un panneau devant la porte de 17 - 20 heures. On s'attable mardi soir vers 1900 heures. Pas d'autres clients ... tiens on est trop tôt ? Trop tard ? Une sommelière passe en coup de vent à côté de notre table avec un grand sourire en nous saluant avec le traditionnel "Hi hi" suédois... et disparaît dans les cuisines ! ||20 minutes plus tard toujours pas un chat et pas de carte des menus n'y d'apéro ... on quitte le restaurant et on passe à la réception de l'hôtel où on nous informe gentiment que le restaurant n'est pas vraiment un restaurant, qu'il n'y a aucun srrvice à la carte. The overall feeling is that you are moved back in time but the hotel is clean and you get a flatscreen tv and wifi. It's ok especially considering there's no alternatives in a 100km radius.
