Gamla Bryggeriet — Hotel in Borgholms kommun

We had booked two nights and were disappointed from the moment we arrived. The receptionist spoke barely any English, making basic communication nearly impossible. Initially, she was unable to locate our reservation. The assigned room differed significantly from the photos shown on the booking platform in terms of both furnishings and condition. The bed linen was visibly dirty (see photos). After raising our concerns, we were shown an alternative room—unfortunately, the bed there was also unhygienic: in addition to stains, there were clearly visible flakes of skin on the dark bedding. Due to the language barrier, a constructive conversation with the receptionist was not possible. We therefore requested a free cancellation, which would have been justified given the unacceptable conditions. Neither our direct request nor Booking.com's follow-up received any response. This experience reflects a serious lack of basic standards in hygiene, service, and customer...

We decided at the last second to visit Oland...which has been a really good idea.||We found a room only in this B&B which is really small but characteristic.||The room is small and we only had one bathroom in the floor (with other 3 rooms) and the walls are really thin.||The b&b is 500 m distance from the beach.||The breakfast was good but with no great variety.||The staff is nice, we arrived late at night and they didn't had problems to...

Nothing special and if you need a bit more comfort I can imagine you will get it somewhere else in the surrounding. OK for 1 - 2 nights. We had a family room (basically 2 small connected room) in a small bungalow, with shared toilet and wc. Check-in was simple and fast and the receptionist showed us around.

It is a quiet space, as everything we visited so far in Sweden and the beach etc...
