Quality Hotel Galaxen — Hotel in Borlänge kommun

Hotel Galaxen is not alone in struggling with a mediocre construction from the 80s. The renovations have been carried out point by point, from economic and environmental considerations it is certainly wise. As a guest, you then have to live with a bit of edge-supported furniture, a stain here and there. However, the female staff at the reception happily deliver good service. The breakfast selection is large, but no special unique local touch in terms of bread and cold cuts. The Hotel is very well situated in Borlänge, The Breakfast is very good and the staff very service minded.||||- Greedy froM Hotel to charge overnite staying guest for parking the car outside the Hotel???- No real Christmas or NewYears decorations, They could have done something to boost the guests?- ||||The communication between Front desk and guest must be improved, we had an embarrasing situation in the Relax , due to unclear information. I’m very disappointed with this hotel. I Stayed for 2 nights and left my jacket at the hotel. I Called the hotel 5 times to express how desperate I was and urgent it was to get the jacket back. I Paid 155kr. They told me they used an express shipping service and it would arrive the following day if not the day after. After 2 days, the jacket still did not arrive… and they did not use a tracked service. The worse part is the jacket doesn’t belong to me, it’s rented so now I'm out of pocket by over 500kr due to their negligence. Don’t trust them to get anything done! Will never return to this place!!
