The unique hotel building was built with materials from the site and designed so that it was adapted and integrated into the surroundings. An exciting design from the 50's that feels modern even today. Of course, not everything is intact, but many owners over the years have all made their changes. Not everything for the better. Furniture is difficult to replace if you do not choose to restore which is probably much more expensive and has not been an option. If you are not familiar with Erskine's design, you may think that the rooms are poorly decorated, the function came first. Read moreI came with friends and spent 4 nights at this wonderful, uniquely designed mid century hotel surrounded by so much snow this January and ample options for outdoor activities: cross country skiing right outside, as well as snow scooters, and alpine skiing a short walk away. Beautiful snow clad roads and paths to walk, and a warm sauna to help you warm up when you get back in and want to relax at the hotel. Read moreI stayed a couple of nights on a tour of the North of Sweden. ||The feeling of to stay in Borgafjall where the road ends in a hotel with this different architecture is amazing.||Be prepared that you are entering a hotel with a very cosy and different interior design. Liked it. The rooms are very different and but on the small side but absolutely ok. ||The service level of the staff was very welcoming and at a very high standard.
