The advantage of this guest house is the location, as it is only a few hundred meters to some of the greatest beaches in Sweden. The sceneries are absolutely gorgeous and the nature breath-taking.||||However, if you want to stay here you should also be aware that all other aspects of the guest house is of really low quality. There is only the option of half board, which is a pity, since the food quality is very low. I actually quite like typical Swedish old-style food ("husmanskost"), but the restaurant really makes a very poor job at cooking it. Further, the dinner is served at 5PM exactly, and if you are a few minutes late - don't bother, you will be without food that day. This is just one aspect of the extremely low service level (it seems like the owners and staff are angry all the time), so you end up being afraid of asking anything. The cabins are ok - functional and clean, but definitely don't expect anything fancy. Oh, and don't expect to do any work (or other things that need contact with the world), as the cell phones don't work and the WiFi is extremely slow most of the time.||||My lasting impression after spending a week at the guest house is that there are so many things that could be done in a better way, and that it is a pity that it wasn't up to par given the excellent location. I will certainly come back to this region of Gotland again, but I am not going to be one of the regulars (that supposedly are coming back year after year). I also suggest others to really look into other alternatives...

This place is a gem. Very traditional run yet charming and tranquil place for a night, a whole vacation or just some good food. Perfect for those seeking the quiet, nature and to unwind. Horrible for those seeking entertainment, animation and such. The accommodations are spread out on a vast, natural property with fir trees and wide lawns. Our room was basic but tip top and super clean - perfectly meeting our expectation. We could hear the birds on a bird island just off the shore and the waves on the long sandy beach on our porch. Vi skulle fira vår fars 70-årsdag och skulle fira honom med en cykeltur på Sudret. Eftersom han, och vi, älskar att basta var det av yttersta vikt att det fanns en bastu. Det stod så på hemsidan, men för att verkligen vinnlägga mig om att allt stämde mailade jag i flera vändor med en i personalen innan jag gjorde min bokning. Vi kom fram till att jag skulle ringa samma dag så skulle det lösa sig. När väl dagen var kommen och jag ringde fick jag direkt beskedet av bastun var avstängd pga vattenbrist. Jag blev lite konfunderad eftersom man inte nödvändigtvis behöver mer vatten för att basta. Vi bastar mycket på sommaren i vårt boende på Gotland, men duschar inte mer för det. Hursomhelst, jag tänkte att de kanske har förståelse när vi är på plats. Väl där möts jag återigen av beskedet att bastun är avstängd. Jag förstår såklart att rekommendationen om vatten från regionen kommit efter vår mailkorrespondens, men det går ju att meddela en gäst detta, eller åtminstone lägga upp informationen på hemsidan. Jag försöker fråga om resonemanget kring vattenbrist men blir direkt avfärdad. Jag försöker då förklara bakgrunden till vår bokning som avgjordes av löftet om att det skulle finnas en bastu. I det skedet möts jag av ett hånflin. Kvinnan jag talar med försöker då visa olika bastu-alternativ på Sudret, men eftersom vi är så sent ute är alla otillgängliga samma dag. Jag vill nyansera mig med att personalen i övrigt var trevlig och att vi enkelt kunde flytta fram vår bokning ett dygn pga dåligt väder vilket uppskattas mycket. Om rummen och miljön finns inte så mycket att säga, det var precis som väntat, Sunes sommar möter kolonistugor à la Barnens Ö. Frukosten var även den helt okej.
