For where you all get free access to, this camping is amazing! We paid 200 SEK for a night with a tent and two persons. In the service house they have a modern kitchen with multiple sinks, stoves, ovens and even microwaves. There is also plenty of space with lots of tables, chairs and armchairs to sit and eat. In addition they have a climbing wall for kids and table tennis inside. The showers have no time limit and even the washing machine and the dryer were free of charge! The bathrooms are old and not very nice, also not extra ordinary clean, but they’re okay. The spots for camper vans are very standard and the space for tents is small and doesn’t seem like it was made for tents, so a better tent spot would be nice. But we still really enjoyed it here. Also great for people travelling by train since it’s 5 min from the train station. Definitely the cheapest camping we found in Sweden in this season. (Normally we paid around 450 for washing, drying, tent pitch and showers.) We could also check in after 18pm as we called before hand, since the reception is in the hotel 10 min away and they’re...
Read moreI wonder what kind of people give such bad reviews to places like this. Like "1000 times more mosquitos than people", is that the camping's fault? That's North Sweden for you 👍 Any campsite will have that here up north. If you expect a 5 star hotel, then go to a 5 star hotel, not a campsite in North Sweden close to water and a forest.
That being said; this camping is not the best we ever staid at, but far better than a 1, 2 or even 3 start review. Lots of spots, kind staff, nice restaurant and shop, and plenty of facilities. The only negative things I can say is that the bathrooms though look clean, they don't smell very clean. Easy to fix though. So, is it a good campsite? I think yes. Is it worth 450kr per night? Maybe not. But it's...
Read moreAn excellent camping site. Service building was clean, warm and large enough. Several showers and WC. Yes, railroad goes next to this site but I did not see it as a problem and it did not bother me. Clearly marked electricity boxes with key. Checkin is at Hotel Fjellby reception so drive past the camping site all the way up to the hill. At the hotel was lunch available from 11:30 onward only 140kr and it was good lunch with dessert coffee. The view from the restaurant to the lake and hills was something not to forget. Price for one night with electricity, shower, WC, septitank emptying possibility was reasonable less than 400kr. Overall I enjoyed this area and will definitely come back again...
