SkyVillage Sweden — Hotel in Kiruna kommun

I booked this place as part of a surprise birthday trip for my husband and I planned to stay there the day before his birthday, so we could already celebrate and he could wake up there on his birthday. 2 days before I got informed that they are over-booked and they offered me another option to stay somewhere else what I didn’t want, so they promised to make it work. When we arrived and got picked-up from the airport we were taken to town to being able to buy some things but then we got informed that our nest was not ready yet and that we’d have to wait at another hotel bar for 3 hours but that they’d pay for all drinks and food (what I thought was very nice but still annoying to have to wait for 3 hours). 3 hours later were got informed that they tried everything but our nest won’t be ready tonight and we had to stay in the other hotel but that they’d pay for our dinner, drinks and the night stay. As we still wanted to stay there for the experience, we agreed to stay there on our last night and they actually arranged everything and even paid for the cancellation of the hotel we would have stayed in!

The actual stay then was just incredible!!! In my whole life I’ve not met people that nice! The pick-up in the snowmobile (what an experience to get to your room that way), the nest itself-super cosy with the fire place and the amazingly comfy fold-out bed. The dinner was just incredible, so was the breakfast and I can’t highlight the people enough!!! Just so nice and they all knew about our first-day experience and really tried everything to make our stay as amazing as possible and it was just amazing!

My husband and I travel ac lot, all over the world but I really have to say that I have never, not even in the best 5-star hotel, experienced such service and I have also never met such amazing people like there!!! Thank you so...

Stayed at Skyvillage for 3 nights in december 2019 and it really was an once in a lifetime experience!

Actually, I hope I would have an opportunity to visit Skyvillage again. Incredibly helpful staff - whatever you need the answer is always "No problem!" and they really do make an effort to make your stay best possible. Had a great time on a trip to the Ice hotel, too. We had a great guide that took us there in a Skysled!

Super cool ride to the cabin on a snowmobile whenever you need it, and really good breakfast and dinner delivered to your cabin.

And the nature around the cabin is just breathtaking - we've had magical 3 days in the middle of the forest up on the hill which made this a trip...

My daughter and I have just had the absolutely most wonderful experience staying at SkyVillage.|Everything was perfect. From the pick up at the airport in the SkyArk, the unique accommodation in the Skynest, the great food and service, the Northern Lights dinner with (so luckily) the Aurora dancing for us, the tour of the Sami village and Ice Hotel, the Wilderness tour, and then to have the most spectacular Aurora all over us on our final morning. This has been one of the best experiences we both have ever had, and truly a great bucket list holiday.|The SkyVillage team, with their wonderful enthusiasm deserve of huge thanks....
