Pelle Åbergsgården — Hotel in Kramfors kommun

What can I possibly say that would even begin to describe how wonderful our stay with Fredrik and Mirja was! Staying at Pelle was like staying with friends. My 3 sisters and I stayed in the farm house and we each had a separate room with two comfy beds. The rooms were cosy and well-appointed, and included robes for the sauna! We came in August, and there were little vases of fresh flowers in every room. The farm house has sooo much character. I loved the dormered upstairs rooms with their old-fashioned windows. The kitchen was incredibly well-appointed. We popped down to the ICA grocery store (about 10 minutes away by car) the first night and were able to make ourselves a lovely salmon dinner. Both Fredrik and Mirja did so much to make our stay special. They are very conscientious stewards of the environment, and we received a lesson in Swedish recycling practices as part of our introduction to the farm house! The breakfast and lunch foodstuffs we were provided were perfect for us - a lot of variety with a lot of local flair. Mirja and Fredrik provide all of the food storage containers you need to take a delicious pack lunch on your hike - with both meat and vegetarian options available. Everyone was able to make the wrap they wanted for lunch with beautiful fresh and local ingredients - including fresh basil from the garden! And even in the summer, we loved the sauna. It smelled wonderful and it was a great way to relax after dinner. We just wandered 20 steps from the farm house door to the sauna and shower house and indulged ourselves! In addition to the incredible environment and views, Fredrik and Mirja were the best part of our stay. They were totally responsive every time I sent them an email with questions. They helped us figure out the best hikes for our skill level and interest. They even dropped us off so that we could hike to our car! Vi har precis kommit tillbaka efter en magisk vistelse hos Fredrik och Mirja Utifrån ser gården liten ut men när man kommer in blir man överraskad över hur stort och rymligt det är. Man välkomnas av ett ombonat varmt hem. Huset är perfekt för såväl familj som kompisgäng som vi var. Huset är utrustad med alla bekvämligheter man kan tänkas behöva med nya sköna sängar, komplett köksutrustning, härliga filtar och en massa sittplatser. Det finns till och med leksaker och en grind för trappan om man kommer med barn. Det finns gott om plats för mysiga middagar och härliga stunder framför den öppna spisen. I det tillhörande grannhuset finns bastu och två stora härliga duschar samt toalett. Det går även att hyra sängkläder och handdukar. Värdparet var alltid tillgängliga både innan, under och efter vistelsen har det varit snabba att återkoppla, de är tillmötesgående, gästvänliga och varma. De har verkligen tänkt på allt till och med det lilla extra för att vår vistelse skulle bli minnesvärde. Jag jobbar själv inom servicebranschen och vet hur viktigt det är att inte bara leva upp till gästernas förväntningar utan även att överträffa dem vilket Fredrik och Mirja verkligen gjorde ett exempel är det handskrivna kortet på franska till mina franska vänner som vi välkomnades med tillsammans med en ask praliner. En liten grej som verkligen imponerade. Vid avresan var det enda mina vänner pratade om när vi skulle komma tillbaka till Pelle Åbergs gården. Eftersom jag själv är uppväxt i Höga Kusten och hela min familj bor där var Pelle Åbergs Gården ett självklart val när man vill visa upp det bästa av Ångermanland, belägen på en av Sveriges absolut vackraste platser bara ett stenkast från världsarvet Rotsidan och Bönhamn. Det går inte att ge ett högre betyg till Fredrik och Mirja som värdar samt till vackra Pelle Åbergs gården jag kan verkligen rekommendera för ert nästa besök till Höga Kusten eller för...

We stayed for three nights, for strolling/hiking in the marvellous surroundings. We had a rental car to take us to the nice restaurants nearby (with extraorinafy food!!) via roads with fantastic scenery. Our hosts offered an attractive package with suggestions of paths to walk, with much personal attention and touch, space for our individual preferences, and a small cottage in peace and quite for just the two of us.
