Rasta Lilla Edet — Hotel in Lilla Edets kommun

We called them in the afternoon to inform them that we would arrive after 9:00 PM. They told us that the key will be under the flowers at the entrance... It was the case. The room was very basic and came directly from the sixties. Obviously, the price was way too much. Nobody being there (10:00 PM), it was impossible to get passwords for the internet. ||||The next morning, as planned, we were ready to leave at 8:00 AM, but had to wait until 9:00 to pay for the room and have access to the breakfast... nobody there between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM. We just lost our time waiting for nothing. No breakfast, no internet, impossible to pay and leave!!!??? ||||One hour later, they opened the door for the breakfast. In fact, breakfast is a big word, because here again it was very basic... We were told by the receptionist that it was an "all you can eat" buffet, but as soon as I touched a danish, the guy in the kitchen yeld to me that it was not part of the deal...||||It was enough: hungry and angry, we left the building without eating, promising to never...

I stopped here along the way for a night this time. I had known this place for some time, but never realized it is actually a hotel, because it also has a petrol station and shop. ||||The restaurant is self service, and has a nice terrace facing the river at the back. Food selection is Swedish and burgers, and the quality is good. The staff are very nice, and despite its many business activities and location close to the road, the place did not seem too busy or noisy.||||My room was fine, maybe not a designer's paradise, but friendly and clean and everything you might want after a day's driving.||||I'll gladly stop over here...

Stayed one night, the staff was super nice, the food in the restaurant was good the breakfast was nothing special but more than adequate. Unfortunately in the morning we noticed a poo stain on the bathroom wall (from a previous guest) :/ We reported this to the reception, but no action was taken. The rest of the room was clean as far as we could tell. One thing to consider is that the room seemed liked it could get very hot during summer.

Would have rated this place 4 stars if there had been some action taken after we reported...
