We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We received a lovely welcome from the lady on reception. Our room was in the slott, up on the second floor. A lovely cosy room with a very comfortable bed. It had a lovely view of the sea. The room was typical for a building of this age, and even had one of the old beams. We had no problems with the WiFi. There wasn’t air con, but the window opened wide and was fine.||Fortunately, there is a lift, which has an interesting interior. There is tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits always available down stairs, in a room off the reception hall.||A buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant and there is a good choice of hot and cold items. The food is replenished throughout the service. We also had dinner both nights. The food and the service were excellent on both occasions and we thought that it was good value for money.||The grounds are extensive and tranquil and there is no shortage of parking.||The same lady at reception also helped us to organise a day trip on the train to Stockholm. We went from the local station in Nyköping, where there was plenty of cheap parking.||We wouldn’t hesitate to stay...

Vacation can be hectic with all the things you want to see in the short time, but here we really experienced the heart rate go down. The confirmands on camp waving to us with a big smile didn't hurt either :) At that age we are more used to eyes turned to the sky :) ||Unfortunately I have to say that the meat for dinner was not good. Close to impossible to cut with the present knife, and chewing it was just not possible. Cut small pieces and swallow was the way to do it.
