Pite Havsbad — Hotel in Piteå kommun

I bought the VIP Champions' Club Hotelroom package (which gives 2 nights in the hotel + tickets to the Race of Champions 2023), I decided to stay more 2 nights before the race, as it was a resort and the website says there are loats of thing to do on it. In the day I arrived most things were closed because the Hotel was a quite empty. The only activity was the hot water park, but it opens at 4 pm and closed at 7 pm. Then I asked about the tours and they told me that they would happened only on saturday and sunday (in the days of the race. On thursday people start to arrive in the hotel, they let the sky bar (the top restaurant) and the spa fully booked for the drivers and people working for the race of champions. I've never see a resort treat so bad their costumers, people that were there to work could go to the best places in the hotel and the clients that play a lot couldn't access the best parts of hotel at no time. On friday I discovered that in the night before they had many snow mobiles tours, but they were fully booked to the people working on the race of champions, I tried to book a pack to the same day (friday) afternoon, I paid and the guide didn't show up, they asked so sorry but they didn't get in tought well and they asked If I would like to so the tour in the next day. I stood 2 days in a resort tha has NO ACTIVITIES FROM 9 to 16 (I don't even know how they call it a resort). Furthermore and what for me were the worst, they didn't gave us a map with the areas we could access in the race or not (Other costumers told me I could see the podium only after the first day. I just bought this pack because they said it would have a meet and great and I am too fan of F1 drivers and would like to them, they scheduled the meet and great at the same time of the press conference and all the top performance must attend the press so they couldn't join. The few drivers that went to the meat and great were interviewed by a jornalist, we the fans could ask questions, they dennied us from take selfies (that is not a meat and great, for this thing a could see in a live on internet I wouldn't have to fly 24 hours away from home. The hotel is far from the city, the taxis are really expensive and there is no place to rent cars, so basically I got stuck in the hotel for two days doing nothing. The drivers I could see and talk I did in the area that the cheapest tickets...

I would like to start this review by telling you that this review is compiled together based on multiple visits over the last few years. There has been some changes and I will do my very best to sum up everything.

Pite Havsbad is a resort with lots of exciting things to do. Bicycling, mini golf, bowling, camping and a waterpark are a few activities you can find here. There certaintly is something to do for everyone, and this place is very suited for families.

The hotel is split up into two pieces. One half is newly renovated and offers family rooms. These rooms are nice, modern and clean. Besides the two main beds, there is an option for additional beds, but these can be too small for bigger and/or taller people.

The other half of the hotel is a disaster. The rooms are from probably the 70s. The TV and furniture are old and have been heavily used over the years. The bathroom is tiny and in the summer it gets really hot. There are also no fridge here. There are two beds in these rooms, and there are no option for extra beds. Mainly because there are no space. If you are a family of 3,4, or more, you need to look into buying multiple rooms or consider (a) family room(s). Upon arrival one of the rooms didn't have a toilet seat. It is 2017, where are the standards? We then switched rooms, and met another problem as aoon as walkee in the door. There was no curtains, leaving the window wide open for any of the neighbors to watch, or for the sun to shine.

The internet on the hotel is not very good, and there may not be internet in some rooms. Earlier this was a huge issue, but it looks like it has been majorly improved, but you can't expect blazing fast internet.

Other than mosr of the hotel being quite outdated, rhe resort is beautiful. There's a nice beach, a great water park, amusement park for kids, shops and generally a really nice outdoor area.

If the hotel owners can renovate and sort out these issues, this will be a very nice place, but for now, it's lacking some love.

It is a place where you can stay on hotel or holiday house.The place is absolut amazing where you can stay and enjoy with family but with verry many issuse! Me i was stay with my family at the holiday house,the house was nice like position but verry dirty,i must clean before i go with my daughter in the house!My sister was stay at the hotel wich was clean and nice room! There it is 3 restaurant,one is verry good and verry friendly staff and another 2 was absolut dirty and the staff dont care about nothing! You must wait them to came from no where to speak to them for order the food,and after this the food is cold,not taste and verry expensive! The restaurant tavern it is a restaurant place where you can eat just pizza,but it is a good food,a good staff and nice and clean! I hope the staff will think more aboug this becouse the place is good but if they dont try to work good and with quality will lose a...
