Ramsvik Stugby & Camping — Hotel in Sotenäs kommun

This place is a really swedish in many respects. Small red and white cottages on the cliffs near the sea. There is a nice sandy beach located right at the holiday village. There are great walkways on the island, both shorter and longer, but all a little bit demanding. At Ramsvik you can rent cabins of different sizes but also caravans. There is the possibility to rent boats, canoes, pedal boats and more. There is a small shop, and a good restaurant. The atmosphere is really good. Small cottages, in a small area, but cozy. I can really recommend this place for your holidays.||The downsides i can see is that the price has increased over the years. The restaurant is expensive for the most part. I also think they lost a little of the identity. If they want to be experinced as a cozy little swedish holliday village then they must think about this in order not to turn into...

The Icebug West Coast Trail 2019 was held at this campsite, and it was an ideal location for the event. We had a cabin facing the sea, and the view was magnificent. The natural surroundings were beautiful & serene, and despite the buzz of the event from the participants living in the same campsite, the place was generally quiet and we had moments to sit on the rocks facing the sea, watch the sun rise and just be...in silent meditation. The people that work at Ramsvik were all really nice and welcoming. BUT we paid way to much (1400 Krones) for one night in the smallest Stugby they had and even had to clean it on our own. We had to use the public toilets which were smelly because of the many People that used them by this time. Our Stugby was smelly, has to be renovated and is way to small to sleep in more than one night. Next time if the Camping is full, we continue our trip and won‘t rent this...
