Scandic Laholmen — Hotel in Strömstads kommun

Stay in 25-26 mars . This hotel is ok but is old and need renovation if not now in 5 year yes . Parking is 125 on top of what you pay for room . Friendly and helpful staff . Gym is on the 6-th etg . and sauna has window to the gym . My card even cant open this door . Was need to contact reception to open for me . In my room the bed foot was loose ,cold , and even cleaning was bad .Good location and ok food (breakfirst ),but for an espresso you need to go to reception bcoz espresso maschine i in the entrance . Good hotel in a very good location. Loved sitting on the balcony looking down on the marina. Big bathroom with both bathtub and shower. Very good bed, Service was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good. I think the hotel was fully booked when we stayed there, but still plenty of tables to choose from during peak breakfast time. Location could not be better. Plenty of restaurants around, and two minutes walk to the Koster ferry. The hotel has an amazing view if you are lucky you get to see out across the bay, if you're unlucky like us you get a view of the parking lot. Good location and ok rooms (very basic). The night clerk was a bit slow to respond leaving us waiting outside in rough weather, but otherwise good experienced with the staff. Breakfasts was ok, the fresh orange juice was delicious though!
