Camping 45 — Hotel in Torsby kommun

This was the first camping trip we took as a family (hubby, me, and our almost 2 year old). The cabins were almost perfect! The kitchenette was well stocked and clean, the beds were clean (but the mattresses were a bit flimsy - so, a bit uncomfortable of a sleep), and the shared bathroom facilities were extremely clean. The grounds had a pool, a recreation room, and a whole bunch of toys and games you could borrow. The whole resort is truly eco friendly. They even have their own composter!!! The best part was definitely the staff. From the moment we entered the grounds, the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. There is definitely pride in ownership in this family owned camp site, and no detail is missed. We booked ourselves for a guided hike, and boy were we in for a treat! First off, the guide was extremely flexible in time and accommodated our schedule. Secondly, she took us to this secret location that was straight out of a fairy tale book! We picked an abundant amount of wild blueberries and chanterelle mushrooms. ||||I come from a family of campers, and have been camping before I was able to walk. Visiting camping 45 is like visiting home. The owners are lovely, kind and generous. They can tell you all about the local area, recommend trails for running and hiking and possibly even fill you up with delicious cookies while you chat. The camping area is peaceful and quiet. It is kept very clean, the showers and washrooms are spotless! The pool always looks refreshing and inviting. The location is perfect, close to Hovfjället and still close to Torsby. It was so nice to hear how the owners are making their contribution to sustainable living through their work and campsite. They’ve done a great job! We will definitely be back to visit again. Camping 45 is nestled in a peaceful forested area at the base of Hovfjället. There are many great hiking and running trails nearby and it is easy to reach the peak from the camping area. The camping area is well taken care of, the facilities are very clean, and the pool is sparkling and inviting.||The owners are incredibly kind and helpful.
