Sund Nergården — Hotel in Trosa kommun

What a place! This is something of a hidden gem, I suspect kept a little secret by the locals. I was surprised by how few online reviews I could find, but please don’t hesitate to go if you can. It was the ultimate luxury stay, it is so quiet and secluded, with incredible views over the lake enjoyed from comfortable sun loungers with drinks brought to you. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic experiences, even though it was quite a warm day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English. The food was fabulous, especially the extra little options like charcuterie & cheese in the afternoon, and cakes/biscuits with your coffee. We stayed a night in a glamping tent, we loved it! The tent was cozy and with all the amenities (except toilet, it was 100 metres away). Outdoor shower, view of the lake, comfy bed. ||Service was superb (thanks Tova!), we were so well taken care of. My husband and I spent several exceptional days here in the area of my grandparents' birth. Our room was charming and comfortable, as was the lovely bath. Each of the many dining locations interior and exterior were both fanciful and beautiful. The food was exceptional in taste and appearance and variety. Lastly, but perhaps even more importantly, the 2 host owners were memorable for their warmth and instantly attractive congeniality.
