Rödlix Hostel & Camping — Hotel in Varbergs kommun

Driving about, looking for a campsite on/near the beach we came across Rodlix. Passed it since it's not on the sea side. But all the other sites nearby were these huge family campsites. Not our style so we decided to go back to the smaller Rodlix.||We were surprised. Very nice camping spot near the sea. Behind the old farm (which now functions as the reception, sanitary housing and hostel) is a very nice camping spot, with spacious pitches. Showers and toilets are new and very clean. The owner is kind and friendly. It's very quiet, only the road in the distance you could hear a bit.

Deze vandrarhem, Rödlix, is voor die categorie de beste die we ooit hebben gehad. Brandschoon, een zeer complete keuken, met drie grote ijskasten zodat men zijn etenswaren ook koel kan houden. Eenvoudige, maar ruime kamers. De mensen die Rödlix drijven, zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ooit moesten we door omstandigheden zo snel als maar mogelijk was, terug reizen naar Nederland. Dat hield wel in, als we via Rödlix zouden gaan, dat we erg laat, rond half elf in de avond, zouden arriveren. Na een telefoontje zei men ons dat dat in dit geval geen probleem zou zijn. De route, 900 km, viel ook nog wat tegen en dus reden we pas rond 11 uur het terrein op. We verontschuldigden ons daarvoor, maar dat hoefde allemaal niet, enige vertraging op zo'n traject was nooit uit te sluiten en dus hinderde dat niets. Als je zo wordt behandeld, ga je als je in de buurt bent altijd een nacht in Rödlix doorbrengen. En daar hebben we nog nooit spijt van gehad. Samenvattend: een beter adres kun je je nauwelijks...
