Such an amazing place. Location is perfect for exploring the area but also for appreciating the amazing views of the mountains and valley. The view from our balcony (in the Vin room) is unbelievable.

The host, Sophie, has put so much care and attention into everything and you can see her creativity in every part of the building, from the beautiful, locally sourced breakfasts to the teas which she picks from her garden, the art work and signage, the wines, the stunning spa room and hamman... Her influence is everywhere.

About the rooms: there are only a few bedrooms so it's definitely more relaxed and personal than staying in a bigger hotel. Our bedroom was well appointed, clean and with a high end, well designed finish. The beds are very comfortable; we had a family room and I'd definitely also recommend chalet diognysos for families visiting with children.

The highlight of the room of course is the balcony which gives breathtaking views of peaks such as Weisshorn and Matterhorn. It's amazing waking up and opening the shutters to see such a stunning place!

There is a communal dining room on the first floor where you can store things in a refrigerator and help yourself to teas, coffees, use the hob or microwave etc. This was very useful as we had our toddler with us. Here, you can also buy a local beer or IPA if you fancy it.

There's a wine cellar which you can book should you want to try some of the wine recommendations as well as the spa rooms and sauna and a private dining room should you want to try raclette.

If you're searching for a genuine experience in the Valais region that truly captures its culture, I highly recommend staying here. The charming house, lovingly built and decorated by the hosts themselves, promises a relaxing stay. It’s perfectly situated for exploring the nearby sights.

The room blends traditional Swiss elements with modern design, creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a family of four, including two children, we found the space comfortable and were captivated by the stunning, unobstructed views of the Alps. Each morning, our hosts served a revitalizing breakfast that perfectly started our day.

I also suggest dining in at least once during your stay. We indulged in a Swiss raclette, perfectly paired with wine from a local Chasselas vineyard. The meal was served in the Carnotz—a cozy, intimate setting ideal for private dinners. It was here that I celebrated my birthday, making it a memorable evening.

It's been a month after having a great stay at Chalet Diognysos B&B. Normally I'm a shy person to write a review, but this property truly deserves one. We were glad to have selected this property as our accommodation in Crans Montana. The entire building is perfect, our room was very nice with excellent mountain view. I love all the details inside my room, balcony and living room. We can imagined how much effort and passion Sophie and her husband have put into this place.
