Freudenfels Castle — Hotel in Eschenz

It is a very nice quiet Schloss hotel on the hill overlooking the lake. There are 2 parts. The accommodation is on the newer part which is above the Schloss. There is a restaurant and a very pretty rose garden.. ||||There is quite a lot of ground so that you can sit anywhere without bumping into each other. The chairs are also set in a way you can see the Schloss and lake. The setting is beautiful and the staff are very helpful and welcoming.||||The buffet breakfast was set outdoor overlook the lake. The breakfast was good and was very relaxing. ||||It does not have air-conditioning and it was quite hot on the days when we were there. We opened the windows at night and there is net curtain so it was fine and we didn't have problem in sleeping. I have visited the Schloss for 7 days due to a business training. The service and food were excellent. Rooms very clean and very friendly staff. They will even iron your shirts, when you ask nicely! The whole surrounding, rooms, breakaway rooms, castle, etc. is great. We had to joy of having 25-30 degree Celsius, making it ideal for meeting inside, workshop outside. I spent a full week at Schloss Freudenfels for a management course. It was wonderful waking up with the magnificent view of the lake and the delicious breakfast downstairs.
