Bed and Breakfast Chalet Epicea - Leysin — Hotel in Leysin

We had a fantastic stay at Chalet l'épicea as part of our a guided snowshoeing package. The chalet is bright and cosy and very welcoming. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a lovely view and pretty, local decorations. The shower was hot and the bedding kept us snug. It was great to have tea and coffee available and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some pasta to enjoy in the dining room / living room in the evening. Everything seemed really well thought out down to the details from providing us with everything we needed to make sandwiches to take up on to the mountain to slippers to wear around the Chalet when we got back. I had the pleasure of staying with some friends for 3 nights while attending a wedding in Leysin||The owner Julie is truly a lovely person. She is extremely hospitable and friendly ||While we were there nothing was too much trouble and Julie at times was an indispensable resource. Thank you again for the lend of the cufflinks :-) ||The accommodation was extremely comfortable and in what can only be described as an "unreal" setting. A lovely welcoming place to stay, well presented, warm and cosy.||Julie is an excellent host, helpful, informative and easy to talk to.||We've been to Leysin a few times and it was nice to be back but staying somewhere we'd not known about before.||The evening snow-shoe hike up to restaurant Les Fers with Ian Julie was great. Not something we would have done without our own personal local guides. Our legs certainly knew about it the next day!||We hope to go back, possibly late Spring or early Summer for some walking.||We would highly recommend...
