Dear Sirs, On Friday, August 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM, I took your Aletsch Express van in Bettermalp with my family. The driver, not only spoke no other language than German—unthinkable for such a service—but also behaved aggressively and extremely inappropriately toward me and, especially, my four-year-old son. He rudely and threateningly yelled at us to get off, knowing full well that we didn't understand what he was saying. I demand a formal apology from management, a written warning to this employee. This person is taking advantage of the fact that tourists don't complain, but unfortunately for him and for you, who are responsible, I have lived in Switzerland for many years, and this behavior is unacceptable and must be clearly punished/slammed. Pls check my email and i wait your...

I did not expect such a boorish attitude at all. We came as a family with two children. We bought a skipass online, booked a training session with instructors. It turned out at the elevator that skipas did not include the elevator from the village to the top . How can this be if there is no other way to get to the elevator. To my indignation, the staff said that it was my fault and were in no hurry to help me change the skipass. As a result, we were late for training. There is no clear explanation about this on the website when buying, be careful. The lifts are poorly positioned, it is constantly necessary to climb to the top. The route 48 is generally terrible. it is necessary to go up the slope in the amount of 200 meters (have they even heard about the...

An experience like no other for a hiking newbie. I recommend hiking everywhere around Fiesheralp, especially through the Tälligrat Tunnel to the Aletsch Gletscher panorama viewpoint and scaling the peak of Mount Eggishorn. Just don't mind the crazy things some tourists do for a photo and enjoy the views and exercize in clean swiss air.

The Eggishorn cable car sadly has a time frame from about 9am to 5pm and I wouldn't dare to hike up or down in the dark. Viewing sunset or sunrise over the Aletsch Gletscher seems quite impossible.

The only thing missing is a healthy option at the restaurants all over the Aletsch Arena. It's generally all meat and potatoes with lots of fat and salt. Especially vegetarians should consider bringing...

We took the cable car up from Fiesch to Eggishorn. Worth the extra effort as it has the best view of the upper part of the Aletsch glacier and the place de la Concorde where several glaciers feed into it. There are lots of viewing places and a small cafe/restaurant. It looks like there are plans to redevelop their and cafe so check it’s open before travelling. It is possible from here or the mid station at Fiescheralp (where there are some nice food and drink options) to walk to the neighbouring cable car stations. If you take one of those cable cars down there is a train at the bottom which should get you back to Fiesch. Obviously make sure you buy the right ticket.

Beware of scams. The ticket machines don't actually translate into English. To go up Riederalp, they tell you it's two points, so a 12-point multipass is for six rides, according to the ticket clerk and the funicular workers. We bought the next multipasses late at night on our way back from a visit. We bought two 12-point multipasses, thinking they would be for six rides, but it turned out to be 24 points. The information is confusing, and the machines don't actually translate into English.

Hadn’t even heard of this place until the night before. We were staying in Martigny so got the train to Fiesch and then got the bubble up from there. It’s really accessible with 3 bubbles up from the valley, all linked to the trainline with a very small walk at the most. The ski arena is big with the three top stations of the bubbles giving you access to all the terrain via plenty of chairlifts and cable cars. Lots of varied terrain and some lovely villages with lovely shops and cafes too.
