Wow, Wow, Wow! Location, location, location! Great amenties! Great people! This is camping right in the environment whether you have a Motor Home, Caravan or tent. Lots of different types of pitches - some grass, mostly hard stand/stoney. Only some have electrical hook-ups, and the cabinets are crowded (overloaded?) in peak season. Many of the pitches have drop dead views of the mountains. Some are nestled by the streams or lake. 2 new/near new amenity blocks which are at their limit in the peak season - but everything works so well. Fantastic staff - busy, friendly, helpful. The young women speak very good English. Very good mini-market. A restaurant, sauna, and bike/tricycle hire completes the picture. Lots of families here making for a vibrant camp. There's a playground, or just play in the stream! Everything at your doorstep - walking, hiking, mountain bike trails, swim in the lake. Easy walk to the glacier in 1.5 hours (1 hour back). Mountain railway 15 mins walk - Take the Glacier Express to St.Moritz or across the Alps to Torino, Italy, every hour. Take the Diavolezzo cable car to 2978m for spectacular views. 2 in a motorhome with electricity cost 45CHF (40€) per night....

This camp site is excellent. Beautifully situated in the valley of the Bernina pass, surrounded by magnificent scenery. The staff are friendly, speak several languages including English, the facilities are modern and clean. The site is quite large and offers different types of spots to camp. Large gravel lots for mobile homes, and cosy more private spots for smaller vans and tents. When you arrive, staff will give you a list of free spots for your type of setup and you can go around and pick the one you like best. At least that's how it worked for me during off season. Prices are also on the lower end for swiss camp sites and definitely with it for what you get. From the camp site you can easily get around by bus and train. St. Moritz is only about 20 minutes away. The only downside I found is that on weekends the Bernina pass is popular with motor cyclists and you get a lot of noise...

So.

We got here early september for 3 nights and what an amazing camping! Its a very outdoor in the mountain site witha little creek running through. Really nice. But...the facilities are really nice as well! A kitchen/family shower area with floor heating is top notch! Its really modern and clean. Also they have a kind of living room which is Nice to have if the outdoor tent guest are having difficult times;). We really enjoyed it and its an absolute recommendation. Staff was really nice as well and helped us out with some camper repairs we needed to do.
