Hotel Le Prese — Hotel in Poschiavo

We stayed at Le Prese for a few nights on a trip to the Grisons with friends. Although it was a little too chilly during our stay to make use of the lakeside terrace, we nevertheless really appreciated the location right on the lake. As many (most?) hotels in the area provide you with free transport vouchers, we caught the bus and train several times to nearby hiking areas. The train/bus stop is literally 100 meters from the front door of the hotel! Walking around Lago di Poschiavo is also possible right from the hotel, which I highly recommend! ||Our room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and super friendly. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night, also good. There was a very good breakfast buffet, where we were served by a staff member because of Covid restrictions. Enchanting property (includes the villa, the park, slick bungalows, and a quarter-mile lakefront), restored in recent years with exquisite taste and philological attention to the territory and the past of the house. Beautiful hotel nestled on a sunny edge of Lake Poschiavo. Recently restored to its old splendor. Restaurant overlooking the lake. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner mostly on the outside terrace, an incredibly nice and serene spot. Train stop is virtually in front of the hotel, so a car is absolutely not necessary to explore this beautiful valley.
