Read moreWe were offered a ‘Wonderbox’ one night break with evening meal and looking through the booklet of hotels available this one seemed the best. We were not disappointed! The area is beautiful: there is a scenic waterfall just behind the hotel and marmots live on the valley side. We had a comfortable room with balcony and lovely view up-valley. It was a good 4-course meal that came with our offer and there was plenty of choice at breakfast-time, including pancakes. It is a large hotel, and there were 2 groups staying at the same time. One group were musicians so we enjoyed their alpine folk music in the evening. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the spa and sauna facilities – next time! We did have some lovely walks though. It is great that the valley offers free rides on the bus, cable car and chair lifts – though the taxe de séjour is quite high...

Where there is lounges and tables Benches. Beautiful snowy Mountain view to. The next day I walked further up to a silver bridge. Where there is the waterfall there to. I did not go further to the green Bridge. But someone with us did. For me it Looked to high, scary, the green bridge. The Meals were lovely. I loved the bus stop outside the hotel. I loved the free Saastal Card made full use of it. I went on buses to, and cable cars in Saas Grund....
