This was my favourite place I stayed in Switzerland!! It's in an incredibly beautiful location on the side of a lake looking out over mountain peaks. Being able to wake up and see that view was just amazing. I was so lucky when I stayed as I had a shared room to myself :) The rooms are very comfortable and have the shutters to keep out the light. It was CHF45 including breakfast and the shower was free! Other inns in different locations have to charge due to availability of water so that was a nice treat after hiking all day. The decor of the inn is really modern and new. The owner and the staff are all very very nice and they all speak English. They tried to almost coerce money for filling up water bottles. When I just asked if their tap water is drinkable, they said that they could fill the bottle at the bar. I then asked again if the tap water was drinkable, but then again I was told that they could fill it. Then I said that we don't need any water, only 1 meal, and the waitress summarized our order as: 1 meal + filling the water. I asked if the water had to be paid for (yes it did), and then declined again. Very pushy, and not really pleasant interaction.

Today I arrived to the restaurant after a long hike with pouring rain. The the only thing I wanted, was to have a nice cold beer and sit down. I was refused a sit in the restaurant despite there being a whole room filled with empty tables. I can understand they want to prioritize their Overnight guests, but I find their lack hospitality to visitors seeking shelter from the rain a bit atrocious. On top of that, I drank my beer standing at the bar to later be told to move. I find this crazy when I payed 20CHF for 2 beers and 1 coke. Absolutely oveprized, bad service...
