Location: SiChongXi Main Street. Two doors away from 7-Eleven Convenient Store.||||Transport: Kenting Jie Che (Yellow Line). It takes about half an hour from Hengchun town (Kenting JieChe Bus Orange Line, transit onto Kenting JieChe White Mini Van Yellow Line at the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium).||||Please check your timetable before hand. There is a timetable inside 7-Eleven counter of SiChongXi village, so you won't have to wait too long for the bus. Other odd hours, you may need to make reservation one day in advance for the bus to come (book a public bus! Something new to me). ||||Premise: Japanese traditional architectual. The design looks old, but in fact it is very modern inside. Once step into the reception, you could choose to go to the nice open outdoor hotspring pool (swimming attire and shower cap is required), or simply book a private room which you could enjoy hotspring privately without clothes on. The private rooms come with and without bathroom options. ||||Beside the reception, small provision area for swimming costume and shower cap are on sale. There is a restaurant inside the premise for refreshment. The place is long established and famous. According to its old records, one of Japanese princes came to soak in the private hotspring tub here. You could see a board at the premise and some old photos along the corridor to the private rooms. It has ample parking outside the premise. There is a nice serene Japanese-styled garden in the centre (right outside of the private rooms with attached bathroom.||||Hotspring: The water is very hot with mineral and yet refreshing. The room feels like a normal bathroom at home, unlike a hotspring ambiance.||||Private room's faciltiies: shower area, hot tub, bench, fan, dressing table with chair, hair dryer, towels, bottled waters, toiletries, toilet WC (for attached bathroom's room).||||My friends and I had a wonderful time in this hotspring place. It is quite a distance away from Kenting or Hengchun town, but it is worth coming. Do check the bus timetable if you are relying on public transport. Or simply book a taxi at the reception after your dip in the refreshing hot tub or a quick meal at the restaurants along the main street.||||Tips: ||||1) Check bus timetable before going back to Hengchun/ Kenting town at 7- Eleven. ||||2) Swimming attire and shower cap are required at the open pool.||||3) Private room charges is for two person. Head count charge will be levied on the additional person, even though the pool could only fit two persons max at a time.||||4) There is nothing much to do in this SiChongXi village. There are a few hotspring place here. Unless you like to soak in the hot pool all the time, I would not recommend to stay overnight in this quiet village.||||5) Try duck egg. It is famous...

We rush here after our Quad Biking activities in Kenting and arrived at 7plus The hotspring itself was not hard to find as it was a prominant building. The exterior of the building look exctly like the website, very jap style , very jap feel.||The lady at the reception checked us in was not very friendly thou. We later had an incident with her which I will elaborate further. ||Unfortunately there were no more 1st storey rooms left when I tried to book. Hence we could only take the 2nd level rooms and once again had to lug n carry our luggage all the way the steep steep stairs. ||||Location: Good location as just walking out was the main street. As we havent had dinner, we just picked any 1 restaurant along the main street to have a simple dinner before proceeding for a night hotspring soak. There was also a 7eleven along the main street just right outside this hotspring, so it was really very convenient to get anything . ||||Room: our was a 3pax room (1 double n 1 single). the single bed was separated by a bedside table which we shifted away to join both beds together. Alas, upon shifting the beds , we saw how dirty the floor was. I actually took time to "mop" the floor with tissue papers as I didnt want my children to be walking around on dirty floor. ||||Hotsprings: note that swimming caps are a must. Previously at Beitou Taipei hotsprings, disposable caps were always provided. It was an overlook on our part for not preparing and hence had to fork our extra $$ to purchase swimming caps from the reception. Even towels were not provided & we had to use our own bath towels....In comparison the hotspring at Beitou provided us towels when we were there. ||That aside, there was 6 outdoor hotspring pools! we had a nice time soaking and trying out the different hotspring pools. The next morning after breakfast , we had another round of hotspring before checking out. ||||Breakfast: the usual taiwan breakfast. the staffs at the restaurant for breakfast were much more nicer. ||||P/s: the incident we had with the reception lady ; the stairs were very very steep. 1 of my child while walking down the stairs tripped and rolled down the stairs! However there was no help by the lady at all. She just continue to sit there doing her own things. That was an unhappy brush...

A traditional Japanese style hot spring hotel with more than 100 years of history way back when the Japanese was still in rule, as what I heard. Has a very good public hot spring that opens to non hotel guests. Just wish the new facilities can be made with more delicacy to match the traditional building, which is sort of in need of repair. Also the music is too loud in some area, some lights are too bright for relaxing, should be easily adjusted. Otherwise the overall experience is quite nice with friendly staffs and convenient spot. Recommends everyone visiting here.

We traveled here for a day just to try onsen and it was definitely worth the travel! The room was also clean and the beddings smell’s good. The time was just enough to relax in the hot spring tub and take a nap. The receptionist can’t speak English but the some of the staff can. Will definitely come back! 👍
