We actually wanted to find accommodation here but it is honestly so difficult to book a room if you are a foreigner (even though we can read and speak mandarin fluently). We managed to find alternative accommodation elsewhere and came here for the public hot spring and felt again that this was more for the locals. The locals subtly emptied every pool we entered, and preferred to hang out far away from us. We also realized that we made a mistake. In addition to swimwear and towel, you need to bring a swimming cap, including boys and balding old men who have no hair. The locals think that your hair will drop in the pool and it is unhygienic. Otherwise you need to pay 50 yuan per cap, and 200 yuan per towel, which can add up when you consider how many are there in the family. Read moreIt has an amazing view and a public hot spring with steam room, saunas, cold spring and jacuzzi, We spent a night before the lunar new year's eve. When you enter the room you'll notice the fragrance of hinoki, though I don't know if they have really hinoki inside or not. Rooms are clean and the room type bigger than quadruple will contain a big balcony with great views and an outside private hot spring space for guests. The best way to visit here is to drive because they provide one parking lot per room. They also made amazing taiwanese dishes which are nutritious and tasty. I would love to visit here...
Read moreThis time's experience was so-so because there were too many people, which made the water pretty dirty because when I got up to shower, my legs were pretty itchy...not the place's fault...only that day was really suitable to go for a dip. usually when my family comes, there's not so many people, we can even get a pool by ourselves...their facility is old, but I like how all the pools are close to each other so when you change pools is not so cold... shower rooms are mediocre....could be cleaner and newer...but enough (provides soap& shampoo, clothes wringer...
