Love Ocean B&B — Hotel in Fangliao

We made a stopover in Fangliao as part of our circle tour of Taiwan. Although Fangliao is not particularly known to be a tourist destination, This small town brings a wonderful experience of fishing village life.

We selected this Love Ocean B&B based on the very positive Google reviews. To our surprise, this B&B is not your typical B&B in Taiwan where the amenities are very luxurious comparable to boutique hotels. The facility has full cafe seating on the main level and elevator service to reach the rooms. The rooms are comparable to even some five-star hotels. The rooms feature a cavernous 12-ft ceiling with over 350 square feet of living space (their standard room) with a full walk in shower (some rooms have soaker bathtubs). There's also a spacious balcony with a wonderful view of the harbor in each room.

With each room comes complimentary afternoon tea as well as full breakfast options. There's a good choice of different beverages ranging from espresso coffee to fresh fruit juices. Breakfast options cover both traditional Asian and Western cuisines. They have also included bottles of fresh alkaline ion water, snacks, and convenient cup noodles in each room. We were told the owners will plan to open a full restaurant at the main level of this B&B in the near future.

We found the rooms to be very comfortable being so spacious and luxurious. The bed was very comfortable (firm and very supportive) with soft cotton linen. The bathroom facilities are both high-tech and comfortable for a wonderful experience. There's a large 70-in TV with network connected TV services covering YouTube, Disney+, etc. The Wi-Fi service was also very quick at over 100 Mbps with coverage in common areas as well as in the rooms.

This B&B also features a infinity swimming pool on level 6 overlooking the harbor. We also love the rooftop terrace with 360° view of the entire town where one can view both sunrise and sunset in comfort.

We were very fortunate to meet the owners of this B&B. They told us they dreamt of this B&B to create a unique and wonderful experience for every guest visiting Fangliao. We think they were very humble to say this as what they've created is a unique experience that's second to none.

The owners were very helpful to have arranged transportation for us to visit Kenting on our visit. They also gave us pointers to places to eat and attractions to visit around town. Fangliao is often thought of as a boring rural fishing village to many Taiwanese people. 老板娘和藹可親的 態度為這間民宿錦上添花🥰🥰。她是一位有豐富經驗和有專業認證的廚師，她能為客人烹調出 很多美味的菜餚 。我們在店中可以享用免費的自助特色早餐(飲品是自選和即場製造的😋),我們亦可以自費享用休閒的下午茶, 千萬不要錯過凉透心的芒果沙冰啊😋😋！晚餐更是老闆娘的拿手主菜 。
