The Dalukuan Hotel is nicely located just above the plains and with views to the mountains. It is surrounded by pineapple fields. Nearby is a water-resort called Dalukuanland, which you get tickets to for staying at the hotel. The area around the hotel is peaceful and you really feel you have escaped the bustle of the west coast. The hotel was easy to find and with plenty of parking. The check-in is friendly. There is a small restaurant at the hotel, which did a good job. As we were the only people staying on our first night, the hotel had prepared a special western breakfast the next morning, which was such a nice touch, especially when the seasoned traveler has had their fill of breakfast buffets. The hotel has a small pool, which looks nice. The layout of the hotel is a bit like a motel, with three storeys in a U-shape. The rooms have seen better days, but are adequate and have a balcony overlooking the pool. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a base to explore the beautiful local area or to take the kids to Dalukuanland. My feeling is that we enjoyed this place so much because there were so few other guests (due to the season), but that it may become noisier during the height of Summer. Depends what you are after. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was poor and only had reasonable coverage if you stood...
Read moreThis is a resort hotel, designed for you to stay a while. |They are next to a water park, which pales by comparison. | My family came here for an overnight stay, and tried to use all of their services. | The room is decent sized, with a large bathroom. It had 2 king sized beds. It is designed for 4 people. | We purchased a package that included dinner, breakfast buffet and afternoon tea time. Dinner was a five course meal plus soup and fruit. Breakfast was a buffet of Chinese food, mixed with choice of salad or noodles, variety of vegetables and breads. We all were full. It was worth the money.| The swimming pool was extremely clean. Every person loved it. There is even a pool that acts like a hot tub, but the water is cool and clear. It has jets for water and massaging your feet or back etc. There is even a waterfall in the pool. | There is a ping pong table and a foosball table down on the lower level. | One potential down side is that this isn't truly wheelchair accessible. It has that one last step or flight of stairs that restricts part or all of the hotel.| One night stay here, plus food and tickets to the water park next door for 5 people was...
