We stayed for 2 nights in mid October as a brief break on a business trip. The owners are very friendly and helpful; the breakfasts were delicious; our room tended toward the hostel type. Chagall included free transport to/from the ferry, which was good. The property is across the road from the ocean.||||Our trip preplanning did not uncover Green Island's unique transportation options -- rent a scooter (no license required but we're too old to buzz about on one) or rent a car (international license required, which we did not have) or take the tourist bus (our choice but a challenge with no posted or publicized schedule; one day we waited 1.5 hours before giving up -- perhaps it runs more often/regularly during high season). William (owner) kindly let us know when someone was heading to "town" and that we could ride along -- much appreciated.||||The hot spring is nearby, within walking distance, and worth a lengthy stay. Green Island is an interesting place to visit; we would highly recommend it for people who like to scuba and snorkel. Be aware that the 40-minute ferry is over open ocean (bouncy!) and subject to cancellations...

Read moreI have stayed three times at this lovely family-run hotel on Green Island & I would go back in a flash. The owners are extremely friendly and will do anything to help their guests. The family will meet you at the harbour or the airport and take you to the hotel, which is a short walk from the famous Green Island hotspring, one of only two natural seawater hotsprings in the world. ||||The family who own the hotel are absolutely charming and will bend over backwards to meet your every need. They seem to remember all their past guests and even sent a framed pictures of our visit back to me in the UK to remember them by. They went out of their way to organise a (complimentary) home cooked feast for my brother's birthday, even flying in a birthday cake from the Taiwan mainland.||||The owners offer home-cooked meals (the breakfast is delicious!), tours of the island, and scuba and snorkelling sessions. Whatever your interest, they will make sure that your time on Green Island is as relaxing and fulfilling as possible. I really cannot recommend this...
