石上湯屋 — Hotel in Jianshi

We were there to spend a night to escape from the heat upon touched down to Taiwan. Arrived at Shishang-Spa only to realize that my friend had left his mobile phone in the Taxi! Being a tourist whom has no idea what to do to reach the taxi driver. Shishang front desk staff has given us all the help that they can offer. Such as called up Tao Yuan airport to trace for the taxi driver contact, to call the taxi driver and they even checked their CCTV records to track the taxi number plate. They had then arranged transport for us immediately after reached the taxi driver and arranged for us to pick up the mobile phone accordingly.||Being just arrived in Taiwan and with this encounter, I was really glad that we have chosen to stay with ShiShang-Spa.||The room that stayed was a room for 4 person with cosy and wondering ambiance. We had our dinner at the hotel restaurant too which were really tasty and very localized....

The place was booked by our tour group. if you want to have a quiet get away and have a private hot spring soaking, this is the place. There are 32 chalets and there is practically nothing much to do except to indulge in the hot spring pool. The beds are on the floor ala Japanese style. It was really cold at night when we stayed and the night sky was fantastic as you can clearly see the stars and constellations coming from a city slicker like me. Food was simple but nice and they encourage you to clear the plates and utensils after eating. Customer service is good coming from the front desk, kitchen .and all staff of the resort.
