甜園玉光民宿 — Hotel in Jiaoxi Township

We had a lazy relaxing time in a handsome mansion surrounded by rice fields. We just loved it! ||癒しになる田園風景真っ只中の豪邸民宿で、のんびりとした一時を満喫しました。||||Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We stayed in the superior queen room, ample space for us, family of three. Homemade breakfast was delicious with abundant use of local ingredients. Beds were really comfortable to sleep in and in our 12-year daughter's words "The best bed ever!" ||ピッカピカに清潔でとても広い部屋でした。玉光という大きなベットが二つの部屋に滞在。大人２人子供1人にはたっぷりのゆとりのあるスペースでした。美味しい地元の食材をふんだんに使った手作りの朝食が美味しかった。寝心地がいいベットで、うちの１２歳の娘曰く「今までで最高のベットだった」。 ||||Proprietress Kate is so kind and thoughtful. She went out of her way to make our stay extra comfortable and fun. She speaks good English so communication is no problem. Her hospitality is the biggest draw of this B&B. ||親切で心配りのあり英語の上手な女将のケイトさん。最高に快適でエキサイティングな旅の手助けを十二分にしてくれました。この民宿の一番の魅力です。 ||||Beautiful art works and paintings here and there throughout the inn, some of them painted by Kate herself. The property is very tastefully done. ||館内は綺麗なアートや絵画で飾られていてとてもいいいい感じでした。ケイトさん自身のの描いたものもありました。 ||||Nice location just in-between Yilan and Jiaoxi train stations. Nearest train stain is Sicheng Station. The rooms are spotless clean. The bed was very comfortable, pillow were perfect too. The view are amazing. This house is surrounded by rice field. This morning around 5:30am, I was walking on rice field path under pink sky with blue mountain in front of me. Sun was rising from the sea. It was so peaceful, relax, refresh, and safe. There is nothing I can ask from this home...

Great location, with spacious family room for 6 person. The house is very nicely decorated, the |lady boss is very friendly and she makes very nice breakfast, especially the home-made green spread on toast.
