雲舍 Cloud Zen — Hotel in Luye

This is a rare find for those who would like to be surrounded by stunning countryside views while enjoying a quiet and calming retreat from busy city life. The morning sunrise over Dulan Mountain from the room is truly magical. The whole building is impeccably clean, and the host, Yifang, is so kind, friendly, and helpful—she took such good care of us whenever we needed anything. We had access to bikes that Yifang lent us, which was really helpful. Communication was prompt and perfect!

One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the vegetarian breakfast that Yifang, her mother, and their assistant friend Jin prepared for us with so much care. We looked forward to each breakfast that was waiting for us and were so grateful for our stay.

We love staying in Cloud Zen. We stayed for 3 nights, and every morning, we anticipate the wonderful breakfast prepared by Yifang. The room we stayed in is called Sunrise, as its name we see beautiful sunrise from our room every morning. This is a high ceiling room with a spacious clean and comfy bedroom, bathroom, and a Japanese style loft room for quiet time for meditation or enjoying some tea with friends. Cloud Zen is a calm paradise in a beautiful area. I really recommend visiting Luye and staying here.

We stayed for two nights. The hosts prepared delicious, nourishing breakfasts for us both mornings. Their ebikes made it fun and easy to ride to the highlands and around the area. They also picked us up from the station and dropped us off when it was time to depart.

The two friendly dogs and cat are well looked after and make the place even more welcoming.
