Bayhouse Hostel Penghu — Hotel in Magong City

This hostel was a really great place to stay for our little trip to Penghu. Frank was so kind and really helpful! He helped us to rent scooters, gave advice on where we should go, and helped us arrange to go on a tour. The hostel is very homey with a kitchen and it is so so so close to one of the best beaches I’ve been to. Evening, morning, late afternoon, the beach never had too many people.

The rooms were separated by gender and the room we were in had its own shower and toilet which I appreciated. The room also has a balcony to dry your swimwear (and other clothes) on!

It’s a really great place to stay if it’s your first time in Penghu, still a great place to stay if it isn’t. There’s games in the common area and a general cozy feeling. I really recommend...

Best backpack hostel ever. Great helpful and friendly owner and staffs. Natively fluent English introduced all attractions of the island, and nearby delicious gourmet map and photos. Assist me to book and arrange the tour including snorkeling, boat trip to islet, and airport pick up. During the winter time was low season without crowded visitors and valuable room price, even the weather is very comfortable about 16-24 Celsius, at noon times the Sea water was quite warm to swimming under the winner tender sun. Frank really is the dream host, he even went to pick me up from the airport. I was staying here right before a Typhoon so i had the whole place to myself. The location is very easy to find and close to the beach. The kitchen is great, they even have a stove to cook dinner.
