I followed my tour group here for the overnight stay at JinShan Sakura Bay Spring Resort.||||Jinshan Sakura Bay Resort is very near the beach, just about 20 metres away from the coastline.||||When we arrived, the air-con seemed to be not working, but it did not matter, as the weather was a bit cold when we arrived.||The in-room TV was controlled by a "high-tech" touch screen remote controller which also controlled the air-con and lighting as well.||You have access to most Taiwanese Channels like Ming Shi, Dong Sheng, etc etc.||||There is the hot spring tub that you can fill in your shower room just by turning on the hot/cold tap. It is big enough for 2 adults to go in together if you are not obese.||The water is SLIGHTLY sulphuric, and you can feel the layer on your skin after finishing the bath.||||TAKE NOTE: the hot spring water can be VERY HOT.||Recommend you turn on the COLD water tap to create a base of cold water first, before turning on the HOT water. ||I recommend 70% hot water and 30% cold water mix.||Elderly persons with skin conditions, diabetes or heart conditions to consider more lukewarm water before making your bath hotter!||||For those who want to try the open-air (shared) spa pools, please note that you need your own personal swimming trunks and SWIMMING CAP. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to use the swimming/spa pools.||||They have in-house eating restaurant at the hotel, but the range of food is limited,||For western/european guests, you may not have choices other than bread and juices.||Strongly recommend for visitors/guests to purchase your own comfort food at any convenience store (eg: 7-11, family mart) before coming to this resort.||||Just relax and dip yourself into the in-room spa and enjoy the nice view outside your spa...

Hotel: location is pretty far. There is a direct bus 863 that will bring you out to the main streets. Quite concentrated as most of the rooms are in the main building, the resort like one are not in used and lack of maintainence.
Room: High likely is the cold weather. Need to let the tap run for a good 5-10 mins to get it running hot water. Basic items are provided. So it's good. Very nice hotspring and bathroom setup.
Staff: very helpful and friendly. Give you all the help needed. Cause we go when the pipe burst and breakfast cafe were close. So they prompt us and also assist to collect food...
Read moreTerrible service, the worst attitude i've seen in my travel experiences. I was there with my friends on the beach nearby, we roughly cleaned ourselves like foots, pants, hands and arms before entering the hotel however the staff told us to leave the hotel as we're not 'clean enough,' even though we had changed our cloths, bags, shoes etc. Then we asked if we could at least use the toilet(even we were very willing to pay any charge) as its the nearest facility people can go to, they said 'No'. Actually a simple 'no' is fine, however they said some words like: 'it's just like YOU this KIND of people makes other residents feeling not safe and clean in our hotel.' then...
