Very comfortable, great amenities and service. Our room was just as it looked in the photos. It was spacious, well designed and very comfortable including the king size bed, the day bed, the japanese toilet with heated seat, shower and bath tub. ||||They have self-serve tea and coffee in the dining room (available all the time), free bottled water in the bedroom, a very generous and tasty breakfast (vegetarian) and serve afternoon tea every day at 5pm which includes a sandwich, some cake and fruit. On the day that they knew we were going to be out all day, they left the afternoon tea in our room. ||||To explore the local area, they have bicycles you can borrow, you can ask them to book you a taxi, or there is a free shuttle every hour or so. The bikes are great to go to the local seafood market and seafood restaurants. To explore the rest of Yilan, you will need a car. Read moreOverall, I'd highly recommend anyone wanting to stay in the Suao region to book this hotel.
Most rooms have a great seaside view, with a patio on the bottom floor allowing you to look out over the sea and kayakers.
The staff at this hotel are doing an absolutely fantastic job. Not only is there a place mat set for you for breakfast, it takes less than a minute for you to sit down and without saying anything a plate of food and drinks are brought to you.
The first day we arrived, we were dropped off quite far from the hotel by bus and the the hotel staff quickly made sure to get us a taxi as to not carry our luggage too far. Which afterwards decided to take us, personally, to a local market he hosts.
All in all, with a great location, comfortable and fancy rooms, and staff that are truly doing everything in their power to make you feel welcome and the highest priority at all times, I can't recommend it enough. The next time I'm in Taiwan I hope I'll be able to book with this...
