Times Nagasaki was really cheap (approx SGD 42 per night). It's super convenient, simply exit from Jing Mei station, which is a 20 minutes train ride from taipei main station. Walk 2 minutes from exit 2 to reach the hotel!||It's just a couple of seconds away from Jing mei night market, a supermarket and a convenient store. ||HOWEVER, how can a hotel be so cheap despite being so convenient? Answer: Compromise on the quality.||No toiletries provided, so bring your own. They only provide towels, toilet paper and a hair dryer. (We bought shampoo from the supermarket that's right beside the hotel.)||The room was obviously oldddddd. I cannot emphasise this enough. OLDDDDD. Super basic and a bit rundown. The toilet was clean but was super basic. However, the bed is still comfortable and the room was of a comfortable size.||Don't expect anything pretty. Just a comfortable bed to sleep and a place to shower. If you're on a budget, need convenience, and don't intend to spend much time in the hotel, then go for it!||Will I go back again? Will probably search for other hotels around the same price...

There was potentially a good view from the room but the window had frosted glass and proved impossible to open due to lack of maintenance/cleaning. Mirrored tiles above the beds add to an impression of seediness.||||If the surroundings don't really concern you and you're just looking for a cheap place to stop then this...
Read moreThis hotel is near the subway train but it's a bit run down. Good and friendly staff but the room was old. The mattress was hard as a rock and I couldn't sleep the first 2 nights there. I had a total of 4 hours sleep the first two nights there. The bathroom was dirty, the jacuzzi was very old and water leak out of the tub and run out to the drain. I got bed bug bites on my arms and legs and also one on the neck. The good thing is it's near the subway train station and the night market is a block away. I definitely wouldn't sleep here unless you're on a really tight budget. It's far from all of the attraction of the city as well so it takes a bit to...
