Great B&B in a special and private forest location. The house is large and modern, but eclectic in style. One of my favorite details is a vintage style wooden door that makes the living room space feel unique and comfortable (see photo). The house has many rooms which are all well appointed like a high end boutique hotel. It has coffee machines with a great selection of brews, and a fish pond that sounds off with frogs croaking around sunset. Nearby are some great mountain hiking trails, an impressively large temple for the small local farming community, and a few good quality restaurants. It was a great place for our family reunion. 山也未央 Lieu de bonheur is a hidden gem of Yilan. Immersing ourselves in the nature surrounding the villa was just blissful. Wish we could have stayed whole week there instead of short 2 days.
The villa itself was highly functioned with all modern appliances. In the meantime, it’s also gorgeous in an unique style with those antique decos.
The staff was extremely kind and professional to explain everything needed upon our arrival. Communications had been smooth during our stay.

During the kids' school break, we all decided to head back to Taiwan and booked this awesome bnb with a bunch of friends. Let me tell you, it was a blast! We had a great time grilling and chilling, and the kids were absolutely thrilled with the whole experience.
