Hello, Dushanbe! — Hotel in Dushanbe

The best thing for foreign travelers in this hotel is, the people in the reception desk and few other staff can speak some English which is a great help in visiting countries like Tajikistan.

There is no signboard or anything outside the building so that anyone can find the hotel. However the ambience and atmosphere inside the hotel was wonderful. The wooden floors, the lights and the wooden stairs gave it an aesthetic vibe.

Our room on the first floor was quite large. The bathroom was also big. But like other hotels in this region the toilet didn't have a muslim shower.

I felt their services were not so good as the shower in the bathroom was not working properly. We informed the hotel desk twice. Although they said they would be sending someone to fix it, they didn't fix it during our two days stay. At the time of check out we didn't even find anyone to handover the room key.

As it's kind of a guesthouse there was no lift for the upper floors. If you have big and heavy luggage with you, it could be a pain to carry those...

I booked the double room (number 9) and read quite a lot of reviews about WiFi issues, though I had no problems on the very top floor in the corner room 90% of the time and I was connected most of the day. The WiFi is actually hidden and has to be added my the manager who by the way, is very friendly and speaks English. The onsite parking is secure, there is free instant tea and coffee, and also drinks for sale, and the breakfast is included, though quite limited indeed. I paid 250som via a booking platform and the room was very good as was the ensuite which was impeccably clean with hot water all the time and good pressure. Everything was great for the price.
