I stayed at Christina House for two months, I could negotiate the price, I went to Dar es salaam for four days left my valuables ( PlayStation, VR, Computer etc) and found them, The staff and Christina waswere very friendly, showed me where I could shop ( the market etc) I could use the kitchen with the price of the room. I went there to relax with my daughter and we had an unforgettable experience. We still look back to it till today. The beautiful greenery the view of Mount Meru, watching it rain from my veranda, chatting with Christina and the staff, cooking in the cozy kitchen etc

Christina House is truly a home away from home. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food is absolutely delicious and the environment is beautiful and relaxing. It's currently raining in Arusha and I woke up to an umbrella outside my door, thoughtfully placed there by Helen (amazing chef), so I could get to breakfast without getting wet 💗

This is a friendly place with comfortable rooms. The showers lack power but are warm(ish). We did a cookery course while there to learn some local Tanzanian dishes, which was great fun. It is close to the busy Arusha-Himo road and so there is a bit of noise from that but not as bad as we expected. It is peaceful at night so we slept very well.

I've stayed at Christina House Arusha several times now, and it’s truly become a favorite of mine. This place has such a special charm, it's tucked away just outside the city, so you get a peaceful retreat from the noise, yet it’s close enough that you can easily pop into town whenever you need to.||What I love about Christina House is the ambiance. It’s like a cozy haven that makes you feel right at home. The facilities are excellent, and the overall vibe is both relaxing and welcoming. Mornings here are something else...you might wake up to the stunning sight of Mount Meru, and the chirping of a variety of birds adds a touch of natural beauty that’s hard to beat.||Even though my most recent visit was for business, I couldn’t help but think how perfect this place would be for tourists as well. It’s an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring Arusha. Plus, I never had any concerns about safety during my stay, which is always a relief.||If you’re heading to Arusha, I wholeheartedly recommend Christina House. It’s a wonderful blend of comfort, tranquility, and convenience. Whether you’re here for work or for pleasure, it’s a place that makes you feel like you’ve found a little slice...

I stayed at Christina House for a week with a group of friends, and had the BEST experience! The rooms were beyond comfortable- super comfy beds (kingsize, but could be separated, and a mosquito net), fully functioning bathroom (with doors, flush toilets, running water, shower, etc.), and it all had a very safe and clean feeling to it! The upper deck/ balcony area was perfect for playing cards and journaling each night! It was a very nice (and beautiful) added bonus! The food was also delicious- I would plan to eat at least breakfast and your evening meal here. Her cook is phenomenal! Multiple course meals and the freshest foods; Christina House was, hands down, the best place I ate during my 3 weeks in Tanzania! It may be difficult to locate at first, but I actually quite appreciated that about Christina House. I felt secluded and safe in the beautiful courtyard - it was hard to tell that there was a busy road right on the other side of the fence! The drive to Arusha may seem far at first, but I think it was worth it to stay in that beautiful and secluded place. Asante Sana, Christina! You have created a beautiful place, and I would LOVE...

I booked and PAID for a Deluxe Double Room but was given a basic room. The photos shown online are of the deluxe rooms, but in reality, they also have basic rooms and that’s what I was assigned, then lying that I didn't want to stay in the room I booked and stay with other group, Why would I pay more money not stay in nicer room? On top of that, the next morning the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom and bedroom, there was no hot water for the entire stay, and the water pressure was extremely low. When I complained, instead of offering help, the owner was rude and even threatened to sue me if I wrote an honest review. I found this behavior very unprofessional and intimidating – no guest should feel threatened by a...
