A hit and a miss stay.

Stayed here twice during our safari in March.

Rooms are nice. Large and comfy beds. Patio is quite big and nice! Showers could use some more pressure. The terrace has a nice view!

The service is a rollercoaster. We were served by 3 guys in the restaurant. The English is limited and it was difficult to order things like water. As the guys mostly nodded or just said Enjoy. During dinner they mostly stood around our table occasionally commenting on what we ate and did not eat. - Ordering/asking for things was sometimes difficult as you were never sure if it would be brought to the table. The girls that take your bags are nice and understanding though.

I was exited about the food as many people wrote good things about it. - But after eating there twice the food serves its purpose to fill you up. Not to enjoy. Some dishes we could not even finish.

The manager was very defensive when an issue arose that water was supposed to be free with dinner with our fullboard package. Might have been a miscommunication all the parties involved. But he did nothing to try to resolve the issue with our party or with our tour operators, except to shut us down when asked about why they...

We stayed in Kankari lodge for three nights during our Safari. It was such an amazing experience. The rooms, view from the rooms and dinning, staff, service, food everything was par excellence. There are two types of rooms, one normal and other one tent type. Both types of rooms were very neat and clean and equipped with everything one needs during the stay. Every room has its own gallery and sitting area, with a garden view. The hotel staff was so good, they treat everyone like a family, and the chef knows exactly what you would like to have and which kind of taste you prefer. Being an Indian, we were little hesitant about the food and in that too vegetarian food, so we were ready with our ready-to-eat food. But the manager insisted on trying their food first, and I must say it was really very very worthy. Our ready-to-eat food is still intact. Loved every bit of staying, the staff’s warm welcome and goodbye was surreal for us. We would definitely love to...

We stayed for one night on our safari. The reception were very welcoming and they helped us to our room and showed us around. The food was good, with seating on a terrace and a lovely view of the nature. They catered to our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan) well. Breakfast is buffet and eggs to order, whereas dinner is buffet style brought to the table where you can help yourself to as much as you like. The restaurant staff were really pleasant and attentive, but we felt the atmosphere was a bit too formal and serious for our tastes. It would be nice if the staff could be a little more relaxed. The room was spacious with a mosquito net and comfy bed. It was very clean. Good toiletries in the bathroom and plenty of hot water - perfect after a dusty safari. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool or room terrace, as we arrived late but the communal areas looked lovely. The lunchbox for the safari was big and filling.

Asante sana for a lovely stay...
