Our stay at Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge was absolutely incredible! The highlight for us was undoubtedly the staff – they're fantastic! I've got to give a shoutout to Israel and Amina, who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. They were always on hand, ensuring we had everything we needed. We rocked up a bit late for lunch, but they made sure we didn't miss out on a delicious meal. Speaking of food, the buffet spread was always brimming with a variety of scrumptious options.||The lodge also boasts an awesome viewing platform complete with a telescope for stargazing. Sadly, the stars played hide and seek during our two-night stay, but it was still a cool feature. The pool? A warm oasis, especially after the day’s heat.||Our room was not only spacious but impeccably clean too. The outdoor shower was a total hit with us – such a unique touch!||Our game drives were nothing short of spectacular. We spotted a whole cast of animals – from a pride of 7 lions to 3 sleek cheetahs, not to mention herds of zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes. And how about breakfast in the midst of nature? Absolutely the best way to kickstart the day.||But really, it's the staff who made our stay extraordinary. We kept thinking, "We've got to come back just for Israel, Amina, and the whole crew!" Huge props to the lodge for assembling such a...

Our stay at Lake Ndutu Luxury Tented Lodge was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location is stunning, with incredible views of the lake, the overall experience fell short of our expectations.

Accommodation: The lodge itself is comfortable, but it's more 3-4 star than 5-star luxury.

Food: Breakfast was a bit disappointing, lacking variety and freshness.

Service: Many of the staff were helpful and friendly, but unfortunately, the office manager was incredibly rude when we paid the final bill during check-out. This negative interaction significantly impacted our overall impression and ruined our experience. Without this incident, I would have given it 4 stars.

Overall: While the location is beautiful, the service inconsistencies and less-than-stellar food detract from the overall experience. If you're seeking true 5-star luxury, you may be...

We had one of the “tents” on the edge of the camp. They are less like tents than they are beautifully appointed hotel rooms. And the setting is surreal as you are in the bush with wild animals roaming around right outside your tent at night. We had giraffes visit while we were there but also heard lions and hyenas at night. To get to/from your room to the main dining area you must call for a Masai tribesman to escort you in case you encounter animals. Food was good. Service was great. Whilst outside of the Serengeti national park, we enjoyed the days we spent on safari around lake Ndutu the most. This was because we were able to venture off-road and get up close and find so many animals. And also because over two days we saw only one other safari vehicle for a few minutes. We otherwise felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

Very nice location, with paved and well-lit walkways. Spacious bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. Universal plugs and nightstands on both sides with lights and plugs. Wide porch with comfortable sitting. The room lighting was very dim. The bathroom has double sink with acceptable lighting, but the toilet stall and shower were very bad. Toilet stall was open on top and connected to the main space. The water has a high level alkaline, and you will have the soap on hands feeling no matter how long you have washed them. There is safe box and free Wi-Fi, but very slow. The restaurant is nicely set with good food and service (maybe too much service ;-).
