Malala River House — Hotel in Arusha

I stayed only few nights at this lodge, but it was a really nice surprise. I had an incredible time there. The manager was incredible at communication before and during my trip. He happily welcomed me in spite of the fact that I arrived very late at night - he arranged travel to and from the airport for me and also even a safari on which I get after few days. Very clean and cosy rooms with tasteful bed sheets on very comfortable beds. The living room offers enough space to easily become your home office if you work remotely. The accommodation is lovely and every morning when I woke up I felt like I was a part of the family. The staff is kind and friendly. In the morning the people here made their best to offer me the most tasteful and healthiest breakfast one could wish for. Outside you can enjoy beautiful garden or chill in a nice bar. Favour lodge provided us a consistent and personal stay while we explored the surrounding area with a guide. The guide, Julian, is based at the lodge and really showed us around! Together we went hiking up mount longido, to Tarangire, mountain biking through local villages with Namic Bike adventures, did some cooking together (delicious) and explored local markets. For what you get for the price it’s amazing. They will find you tours and transfers on the spot and also they will cook you wonderful food in the morning and at night. You really can’t go wrong while staying at new favour Lodge. The road back to the property is rough, but that’s outside of their control.
