Stayed here on the first two nights of our trip to Tanzania and after a 24 hour flight. Firstly the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The rest of the experience was poor. We were provided with the ' family' rooms ( which they suggested was an upgrade) which are actually a small house away from the rooms in the dry and dusty car park, next to the road and neighbouring houses - very noisy and ill closing windows. Rooms dark and unfurnished, nothing but the hard fittings in bathroom so no shelf, towel rail or toilet roll holder ( we had to use the floor for items). We had no water at all, then only cold water and only got hot water on the second evening. The rooms look nothing like these photos and there is no spa or wellbeing centre or wifi. The bar, inside restaurant and seating area were closed due to a bee problem! My agent compensated as the hotel were not willing to acknowledge or speak with me about the complaint. Other rooms may be fine but dont go if you expect whats promised on the web page! This is not indicative of Tanzania- everywhere else we stayed including tents was superb...
