The lodge is located in kind of a forest and has a very nice and large garden area where the different rooms are spread around. The staff is very friendly and helpful all the time. The restaurant is good and could cover our gluten-free (celiac) needs very well in close cooperation with the chef. The buffet choices are not very large as this is a small place but probably should cover for everyone. What is behind in terms of quality are the rooms which are rather small and old. Our bathroom was small and the toilet had seen better times years ago. Feels more like a local overall. We stayed in several hotels in Tanzania, and the room here was by far the lowest quality.
